Turkey has reported in the Council of Ministers Decree No. 2007/12697 published in the Official Gazette No. 26683 of 27 October 2007, that the first-time income tax treaty between Turkey and Bahrain, signed on 14 November 2005, entered into force on 2 September 2007. Accordingly, based on this the treaty generally applies from 1 January 2008.
