On 21 June 2013, the Philippines and Thailand signed an income tax treaty, following the 5th Meeting of the Joint Commission for Bilateral Cooperation (JCBC) with Thailand, held in the Philippines from 20 to 21 June 2013. Once in force and effective, the new treaty will replace the Philippines - Thailand Income Tax Treaty (1982).
