The Canadian Department of Finance has announced that negotiations for a first-time income tax treaty between Canada and Greece will be held the week of 4 June 2007 in Ottawa The new income tax treaty and protocol between Canada and Mexico, signed on 12 September 2006, entered into force on 18 April 2007. The treaty generally applies from 1 January 2008. From this date, the new treaty generally replaces the Canada-Mexico income tax treaty of 8 April 1991, as well as the Canada-Mexico exchange of information treaty signed on 16 March 1990
