With the introduction of the Danish Bookkeeping Act back in July 2022, a lot of new requirements have been pending implementation, such as the obligatory usage of Digital Bookkeeping Systems (DBS) for companies in Denmark. Besides having heftier requirements regarding IT security and support for bookkeeping functionalities, these systems must have the capability to issue, receive and store e-invoices.
