The Government of the Netherlands has published its point of view at the hearing before the General Court of the European Union on 2 July 2018 on its appeal of the European Commission decision that illegal State aid was granted to Starbucks. The Commission's decision, issued in October 2015 ({News-2016-06-29/A/3-previous coverage}), concerned a 2008 advance pricing agreement (APA) concluded with Netherlands-based Starbucks Manufacturing BV.
