The income tax treaty between Rwanda and South Korea entered into force on 19 December 2024. The treaty, signed 13 September 2023, is the first of its kind between the two countries. Taxes Covered The treaty covers Korean income tax, corporation tax, special tax for rural development, and local income tax. It covers Rwandan personal income tax, corporate income tax, withholding taxes, capital gains tax, and tax on rent of immovable property.
