The Government of Monaco has issued a release on the signing of an income tax treaty with the United Arab Emirates on 13 November 2021. The treaty is the first of its kind between the two countries and, according to the release, is in line with the most recent OECD model convention and complies with the measures in the tax base erosion and profit shifting (BEPS) project. Details of the treaty will be published once available.
