Moldova has published Decree No. 175 of 18 April 2025 in the Official Gazette, which authorizes the signing of an income and capital tax treaty with Germany. The treaty must be signed and ratified before entering into force and, once in force and effective, will replace the 1981 tax treaty between Germany and the former Soviet Union as it applies in respect of Germany and Moldova.
