On 3 September 2024, Lithuania's Ministry of Economy and Innovation announced that officials from Lithuania and Taiwan signed an income tax treaty in August 2024. The treaty is the first of its kind between the two jurisdictions and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged. Details of the treaty will be published once available.
