According to an update from the Kenyan National Treasury, the income and capital tax treaty with Iran entered into force on 13 July 2017. The treaty, signed 29 May 2012, is the first of its kind between the two countries. Taxes Covered The treaty covers Iranian income tax and property tax and Kenyan income tax chargeable in accordance with the provisions of the Income Tax Act.
