Tax Treaty between Cyprus and Jordan Signed

On 17 December 2021, officials from Cyprus and Jordan signed an income tax treaty. According to a release from the Cyprus Ministry of Finance, the treaty is based on the OECD Model Convention and incorporates the minimum BEPS standards. The treaty is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged. Details of the treaty will be published once available.
