On 12 September 2018, officials from Comoros and Mauritius signed an income tax treaty. The treaty is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged. Details of the treaty will be published once available. Note – It was previously reported that a tax treaty had been signed in October 2017, which has been corrected.
