According to a joint statement published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Laos, officials from Cambodia and Laos signed an income tax treaty on 4 December 2024. The treaty is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged. Details of the treaty will be published once available.
