According to recent reports, officials from Angola and the United Arab Emirates met 7 December 2017 to discuss bilateral relations, including the negotiation of an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
