Taiwan's Ministry of Finance recently announced that the monthly business tax threshold for small-scale businesses is increased from 1 January 2025. The monthly threshold for goods is increased from TWD 80,000 per month to TWD 100,000, and the monthly threshold for services is increased from TWD 40,000 per month to TWD 50,000. Small-scale businesses that do not exceed the thresholds are generally exempt.
