On 27 August 2014, the tax information exchange agreement between Mexico and Gibraltar will enter into force. The agreement was signed 9 November 2012, and is the first of its kind between the two jurisdictions. The agreement applies for criminal tax matters from the date of its entry into force and for all other matters for tax periods beginning in 2014.
