On 25 October 2017, the Swiss Federal Council adopted the dispatch for the approval of the pending income tax treaty with Pakistan. The treaty was signed on 21 March 2017, and once in force and effective, will replace the 2005 tax treaty between the two countries ({News-2017-03-23/T/2-previous coverage}).
