According to recent reports, South Korea's National Assembly approved the ratification of the pending income tax treaty with Rwanda on 14 November 2024. The treaty, signed 13 September 2023, is the first of its kind between the two countries. It will enter into force the day 30 days after the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply from 1 January of the year following its entry into force.
