South Korea Approves Pending SSA with New Zealand, Norway, and the Philippines

According to recent reports, South Korea's National Assembly has approved for ratification the pending social security agreements with New Zealand, Norway, and the Philippines. The agreement with New Zealand was signed on 29 October 2019, the agreement with Norway was signed on 13 June 2019, and the agreement with the Philippines was signed on 25 November 2019. The agreements are all the first of their kind between South Korea and the respective countries and will enter into force on the first day of the third month after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
