Slovenia has published the Law on Intervention Measure to Mitigate the Consequences of the Second Wave of the COVID-19 Pandemic, which entered into force on 28 November 2020. Tax measures of the law include a VAT and import tax exemption for the supplies of protective and medical equipment from 1 November 2020 to 30 April 2021, as well as provisions that the tax authority may grant a deferral for the payment of taxes or contributions for taxpayer's that have lost the ability to generate revenue due to the pandemic.
