The Seychelles Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning, and Trade has announced the entry into force of the Tourism Environmental Sustainability Levy on 1 August 2023. The levy, which was first announced as part of the 2023 Budget, applies as follows: SCR 25 per person per night for small tourism accommodations (1-24 rooms); SCR 75 per person per night for medium tourism accommodations (25-50 rooms); and SCR 100 per person per night for large tourism accommodations (51 rooms and above), yachts, and island resorts.
