Serbia published in the Official Gazette on 20 March 2020 the Regulation on Emergency Tax Measures to Mitigate the Economic Consequences of COVID-19. The regulation provides that for taxpayers that already have a tax payment agreement with the tax administration, no action will be taken to annul such agreement, and collection procedures will not be enforced beginning from March 2020, without interest. The regulation also provides that interest on other late tax payment is reduced to the reference rate of the National Bank of Serbia (1.75%) during the state of emergency, with effect from 20 March 2020.
