Senegal is reportedly implementing a number of tax relief measures in order to mitigate the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. These include: the suspension of the payment of payroll tax and social security contributions for companies that maintain their employees for the duration of the crisis and those that continue to pay at least 70% of the wages of furloughed employees; a deferral of tax payment to 15 July 2020 for SMEs with turnover of up to XOF 100 million and for companies most severely impacted by the pandemic, including those in the tourism, catering, hotel, transportation, education, culture,...
