On 5 February 2019, the Saudi Cabinet approved the pending income tax treaty with the United Arab Emirates. The treaty, signed 23 May 2018, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged. Details of the treaty will be published once available.
