According to a release from Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, officials from Japan and Poland are holding the first round of negotiations for a social security agreement from 22 January 2024. Any resulting agreement would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
