According to a release from Iran's Ministry of Cooperatives, Labour, and Social Welfare, officials from Iran and Russia recently met via video conference to discuss various issues, including the negotiation and signing of a social security agreement. Any resulting agreement would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
