Qatar has reportedly issued Law No. 12 of 2020 on 31 May 2020, which provides the legal framework for the formation of Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) between the public and private sectors in Qatar. This includes that PPPs may be formed through an agreement between a government body and one or more private sector entities for the execution of a contract or for the provision of service using different structures, such as Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT), Build-Transfer-Operate (BTO), Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT), Operate-Maintain (OM), etc.
