On 15 June 2009, the State Secretary of Finance published a document for public consultation on the division of the corporate income tax burden and the tax treatment of interest issues. The report deals with an obligatory group interest box and with separate restrictions of interest deductions, and the relaxing of the current regime for low-taxed passive investments.
