Protocol to Tax Treaty between Hungary and Pakistan Signed

On 14 July 2020, officials from Hungary and Pakistan signed an amending protocol to the 1992 income tax treaty between the two countries. According to a release from Pakistan's Federal Board of Revenue, the protocol provides for the replacement of Article 27 (Exchange of Information) in line with the OECD standards for information exchange. The protocol is the first to amend the treaty and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
