The Belarus Ministry of Taxes and Levies has published a release announcing the signing of an amending protocol to the 2000 tax treaty with the United Arab Emirates on 29 March 2019. According to the release, the protocol includes amendments regarding taxes covered, competent authorities, residence, dividends, taxation of gains from shares deriving value from immovable property, and exchange of information. The protocol will enter into force on the first day of the second month following the exchange of ratification instruments. Additional details of the protocol will be published once available.
