Guernsey and Montserrat have signed an amending protocol to the 2014 tax information exchange agreement between the two jurisdictions. The protocol was signed by Montserrat on 18 July 2023 and by Guernsey on 15 September 2023. The protocol is the first to amend the agreement and includes amendments regarding the term "competent authority", as well as the addition of new Articles 5A (Automatic Exchange of Information) and 5B (Spontaneous Exchange of Information) and related amendments.
