Poland has published the government statement on the implementation of the measures of the BEPS MLI for the 1987 income and capital tax treaty with Greece. The statement provides the notification and reservations taken by the two countries for the application of the MLI to the 1987 treaty. The statement also notes that the MLI entered into force for the 1987 treaty on 1 July 2021 and, as such, the MLI applies with respect to tax withheld at source and for other taxes for 1 January 2022 for both countries.
