Poland's Ministry of Finance has issued a release announcing that the Finance Ministers of Lithuania and Poland met on 17 September 2021 to discuss bilateral cooperation, including Poland's interest in signing a joint declaration on tax cooperation with Lithuania. The release notes that such declarations have been signed with Estonia, the Slovak Republic, and Ukraine, providing a general framework for the conclusion of agreements on the exchange of tax information, knowledge, and experience in introducing national tax solutions for the modernization and improvement of the VAT system.
