The Philippines Department of Finance issued a release on 9 November 2021 announcing that the Fiscal Incentives Review Board (FIRB) has upheld Resolution No. 19-21, allowing registered enterprises of the Information Technology and Business Process Management (IT-BPM) sector to continue implementing work-from-home (WFH) arrangements without adversely affecting their fiscal incentives until 31 March 2022. As previously reported, Resolution No. 19-21 was issued for IT-BPM enterprises in economic zones to support WFH arrangements because of the COVID-19 pandemic, subject to certain conditions.
