Panama's Ministry of Economy and Finance has reportedly issued Executive Decree No. 177 of 2024, which entered into force on 2 January 2025. The Executive Decree updates and replaces prior decrees regulating the obligation for legal persons not carrying on operations within Panama to submit accounting records and supporting documentation (or copies) to their resident agent each year.
