The Pakistan Federal Board of Revenue has issued notice on a one-month extension of the effective date for persons registered for sales tax to integrate their hardware and software with the FBR's computerized system and to transmit their invoices electronically. As previously reported, the requirements were extended to all registered persons with effect from 1 May 2025 for corporate registered persons and 1 June 2025 for non-corporate registered persons. As provided by the notice, the effective dates have been extended to 1 June 2025 for corporate registered persons and 1 July 2025 for non-corporate registered persons.
