On 15 November 2016, the Norwegian parliament approved the bills ratifying the protocol to the 1987 income and capital tax treaty with Switzerland, the tax information exchange agreement with the United Arab Emirates, and the 2015 income tax treaty with Zambia. The protocol to the Norway-Swiss tax treaty was signed 4 September 2015 and is the third to amend the treaty.
