Japan's Ministry of Finance has announced the signing of a new income tax treaty with Georgia on 29 January 2021. Once in force and effective, the new treaty will replace the 1986 tax treaty between Japan and the former Soviet Union as it applies in respect of relations between Georgia and Japan.
