The Netherland's State Secretary for Finance has announced the government's intention to abolish the deductibility of foreign fines. Currently, foreign fines are technically deductible for Dutch corporate income tax purposes, except for those imposed by institutions of the EU. The change will be included in the Netherland's Tax Plan 2015, which will be submitted September 2014.
