Morocco Provides Return Deadline Extension for Certain Taxpayers in Response to COVID-19

Morocco's Economic Monitoring Committee has reportedly approved a number of temporary measures in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. One of the main measures is that for companies whose turnover for the 2019 finance years was less than MAD 20 million, the tax return deadline is extended to 30 June 2020. In addition, tax audits and third-party notices are suspended until 30 June 2020. Note - The Committee was established to monitor the impacts of COVID-19 and it is expected that additional measures will be introduced, depending on how the situation progresses.
