Morocco recently published Bill No. 77.19, which was approved by the Council of Ministers on 30 January 2020 for the ratification of the Multilateral Competent Authority Agreement on Automatic Exchange of Financial Account Information (MCAA). The MCAA provides for the exchange of information under the OECD Common Reporting Standard (CRS). Morocco signed the MCAA on 25 June 2019 and intends to begin the first exchanges under CRS by September 2021.
