Effective 1 October 2018, Monaco has set the social security contribution rates for employers as follows: Health insurance and family allowances – 15.05% Pension – 8.03% Unemployment – 4.05% For employees the contribution rates are: Pension – 6.55% Unemployment – 2.40% Contributions are made based on gross monthly salary, subject to monthly contribution basis caps equal to EUR 8,600 for health insurance and family allowances, EUR 4,896 for pension, and EUR 13,244 for unemployment.
