Moldova's Cabinet of Ministers has announced its approval of the ratification of the pending social security agreements with Greece and Italy on 3 November 2021. The agreement with Greece, signed 8 September 2021, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged. The agreement with Italy, signed 18 June 2021, will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged. An earlier agreement was signed in 2011 but was never ratified.
