On 19 June 2019, Mexico's Senate approved the ratification of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) in vote of 114 to 4. Mexico is the first to ratify the agreement, which was signed on 30 November 2018 to revise and replace the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). The USMCA will enter into force and supersede the NAFTA on the first day of the third month after all parties have notified each other of their ratification. It is currently uncertain when the agreement will be voted on in the U.S. and Canada.
