The Mexican Tax Administration (SAT) has issued a release announcing that it has decided to extend the deadline for individual natural persons to file their annual declaration (tax return) corresponding to the 2019 fiscal year to no later than 30 June 2020. Normally, individual tax returns are due 30 April. The extension has been provided due to the COVID-19 pandemic and technical issues that have resulted from the high demand on SAT systems for taxpayers to file from home.
