The Mauritius National Assembly is considering the Finance (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill, which was introduced on 20 July 2021. The object of this Bill is to provide for the implementation of measures announced in the Budget Speech 2021-2022 and for matters connected, consequential, and incidental thereto. As previously reported, the Budget Speech was delivered on 11 June 2021 and includes mainly supportive measures, including a new incentives framework for companies registered with the Economic Development Board (EDB).
