On 22 December 2016, the Marshal Islands signed the OECD-Council of Europe Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters as amended by the 2010 protocol. On the same date, the Marshal Islands deposited the ratification instrument for the conventions entry into force. According to the OECD overview of signatories to the convention, the convention will enter into force for the Marshal Islands on 1 April 2017.
