Malawi's Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs delivered the 2025/2026 Budget Statement on 28 February 2025. One of the main tax measures of the budget is a reduction in the corporate tax rate for non-residents with a permanent establishment in Malawi from 35% to 30%. Subject to approval, the reduction in the rate will apply from 1 April 2025.
