On 8 October 2019, Macau published Chief Executive Notice No. 158/2019 in the Official Gazette, which authorizes the Secretary for Economy and Finance to sign an amending protocol to the 2003 income tax arrangement with China. The protocol will be the fourth to amend the arrangement and must be signed and ratified before entering into force. Details of the protocol will be published once available.
