Lithuania's State Tax Inspectorate (STI) has announced a tax amnesty program for all taxpayers to declare past income and pay outstanding tax debts for the tax years 2014 to 2018 with no interest or late payment penalties or fines imposed by STI. For declared income, tax should be paid within 20 days of declaration or in installments over a period of up to two years. The announcement includes that taxpayers have until 1 July 2019 to take advantage of the tax amnesty program and notes that no amnesty will be provided in the future.
